COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS


 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE HOMECHOICE PRE-OPENING COMPETITION

Bridge City Shopping Centre (“Bridge City” or “the Shopping Centre”), managed by Capital Land Asset Management, is conducting this promotional competition, which is called the “Homechoice Pre-Opening Competition”.

All participants, by entering the “Homechoice Pre Opening Competition”, agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:

1. How to Enter:

1.1 Answer the competition question/s per Facebook post on Bridge City’s Facebook page, along with your name, contact number and email address. The competition runs from 16 September 2024 to 30 September 2024.

1.2 The online entry form is accessible via a post on the Shopping Centre’s Facebook page
1.3 The Facebook pages are defined as follows –

1.3.1 @bridgecityshopping


2 Who Qualifies to Enter:


2.1 To participate in this competition, you must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa with a valid passport or ID.

2.2 All entrants must be eighteen (18) years or older as of 16 September 2024.
2.3 The winner will be required to present a valid South African ID document or proof of permanent residency to accept and redeem the prize.
2.4 The winner must be willing and able to collect their prize at the participating Shopping Centre on an agreed upon date within the first seven (5) days of the winner receiving the prize announcement.
2.5 The prize mustbe collected during the Centre Management office hours specific to the participating Shopping Centre.
2.6 Employees, directors, agents, contractors, tenants and their staff, and consultants of all participating Shopping Centres and their immediate families, associates or business partners may not enter the competition.
2.7 Entrants may not participate in or win the competition if they have won a competition promoted by the Shopping Centre within the past six (6) months. Entrants will be eligible to participate in a competition promoted by the Shopping Centre after the expiry of six (6) months after the date on which they won the last competition.

3. Winner Selection Process:

3.1 The winners will be selected at random by means of a lucky draw.
3.2 Winners will be announced and notified within five (5) days of the closing of the competition.
3.3 Each winner will win a specified prize allocated to the post or question.

3.4 Prizes include:

3.5 Only one (1) entry per participant is permitted

 
4. Prize & Collection Process:

4.1 The prizes will be worth the following values
4.1.1 Edison 3 piece Comforter set (double) – R1,799.00
4.1.2 6 piece Domino Cast Iron Cookware set – R3, 199.00
4.1.3 Hot & Cold Polycotton Hollowfibre Duvet Inner – R1,799.00
4.1.4 Davis All Seasons 3-in-1 Mink Blanket – R1,999.00
4.1.5 Cruise Skye 2pc Blush Luggage set – R3,499.00

4.2 The winner must present their South African ID or valid passport and proof of permanent residency upon collection.
4.3 The winner’s name & contact details will be recorded by Bridge City Shopping Centre Management for the purpose of Marketing campaigns and promotions.
4.4 The winner will be required to sign acceptance of their prize.
4.5 The winner agrees to all photos of the winner being used for Bridge City Shopping Centre Homechoice marketing, advertising and reporting purposes.
4.6 The final prize handover will take place at the Shopping Centre’s Management Office alternatively at the Homechoice store.
 

5. Important Notices:

5.1 The prize cannot be exchanged, it is non transferable, and it is not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
5.2 Participants are responsible for all costs related to entering this competition, including cellular, data, and travel costs.
5.3 The winner agrees to their name and surname being used for publicity purposes.
5.4 Bridge City Shopping Centre and homechoice does not accept responsibility and shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or issues which a winner may experience with any of the prizes.
5.5 Bridge City Shopping Centre and homechoice do not accept any liability for reliance placed on information and/or images and/or other content on the Bridge City Shopping Centre Facebook page and website that is not posted by Bridge City Shopping Centre.
5.6 Bridge City Shopping Centre reserves the right to cancel the competition or terminate it at their sole discretion for any reason whatsoever.

 

6. General:

6.1 Employees, directors, agents, contractors, tenants and their staff, and consultants of Homechoice and Bridge City Shopping Centre and their immediate families, associates or business partners may not enter the competition.
6.2 In the event of a dispute with regard to any aspect of the competition and/or these terms and conditions, the decision of Bridge City Shopping Centre will be final and binding and no correspondence may be entered into.
6.3 Bridge City Shopping Centre may refuse to award the prize if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities, fraudulent practices or unlawful tampering.
6.4 The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered with, Facebook.

 

7. Privacy Policy:

We confirm that the owners of the participating shopping centres and their agents comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“the Act”) in respect of the collection and processing of personal information. By entering this competition, you confirm that you understand your right to privacy and that the information submitted by yourself, or your duly authorised representative, will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the Act. You hereby give your consent for the shopping centres to collect and process your personal information for the purpose of this competition, Shopping Centre marketing, advertising, promotions and competition.
