The Rialto Project is a registered Non-Profit Company which aims to bridge educational opportunities for deserving children from disadvantaged backgrounds through full-time bursaries to leading schools across South Africa.
Founded in 2019 by Capital Land Asset Management (Capital Land) and Futuregrowth Asset Management (Futuregrowth), the Rialto Project provides and manages educational bursaries to leading schools across South Africa for deserving children.
The Rialto Bridge spans the Grand Canal in the city of Venice. As one of the most iconic historical bridges in the world, it provides a representative symbol of the ideals and objectives of our programme.
The Rialto Project aims to bridge the education divide of historical disadvantage in South Africa, giving deserving children from compromised backgrounds access to world-class education, opportunities and support through a structured bursary programme. In doing so, we aim to change the lives of the individuals, their families and communities.
The Rialto Project currently has seven bursary recipients and a total of R2.4 million has been pledged by the sponsors including Capital Land Asset Management, Futuregrowth Asset Management and the Futuregrowth Community Property Fund.
A total of 10 Rialto Project Bursaries have been awarded to date.
