COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SETSING IV CENTRE TROLLEY DASH COMPETITION

Setsing IV Centre (“Setsing IV Centre”) located in Phuthaditjhaba, Free State, managed by Capital Land Asset Management, is conducting this promotional competition, which is called the Setsing IV Centre Trolley Dash Competition.

All participants, by entering the Setsing IV Centre Trolley Dash competition are to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:

1. HOW TO ENTER:

1. Complete the following steps between 25 August 2025 and 25 November 2025 to stand a chance to win one (1 of 3) Trolley Dash experience valued at R5 000. 00 (Five Thousand Rand).
a.    Like & follow Setsing IV Centre (@SetsingIVCentre) on Facebook
b.   Tag 3 friends who love to shop and use the hashtag #SetsingCentreTrolleyDash2025 on the competition post on the Setsing IV Centre Facebook page.

2. WHO QUALIFIES TO ENTER:

2.1 To participate in this competition, you must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa with a valid passport or ID.
2.2 All entrants must be 18 years or older as of 23 April 2025.
2.3 The winner will be required to present a valid South African ID document or proof of permanent residency to accept and redeem the prize and be available to participate in the Trolley Dash at Roots Butchery, Setsing IV Centre within fourteen (14) days of being notified.
2.4 The winner must be willing and able to participate in the Trolley Dash within fourteen (14) days of the winner announcement.
2.5 The winner must be available to participate in the Trolley Dash between 08h00 to 09h30 on the agreed upon Trolley Dash date.

3. WINNER SELECTION PROCESS:

3.1 The winner will be selected at random by means of a lucky draw.
3.2 The winner will be announced and notified within five (5) days of the closing of the competition.
3.3 One (1) winner per month who, correctly entered the competition, will win one (1) Trolley Dash.
3.4 The winner will be contacted via email/telephonically for further correspondence.
3.5 Only one (1) entry per participant is permitted.

4. PRIZE & COLLECTION PROCESS:

4.1 The prize will be worth a value of R5 000.00 (Five Thousand Rand) including VAT and will include a Trolley Dash at Roots Butchery in Setsing IV Centre.
4.2 The winner must present their South African ID or valid passport and proof of permanent residency upon collection.
4.3 The winner’s name & contact details will be recorded by Setsing Iv Centre Management for the purpose of Marketing campaigns and promotions.
4.4 The winner will be required to sign acceptance of their prize.
4.5 The winner agrees to all photos of the Trolley Dash being used for Setsing IV Centre marketing, advertising, and reporting purposes.
4.6 The winner will be permitted one (1) Trolley Pusher during the Trolley Dash. A Trolley Pusher is someone that will assist the winner by pushing the trolley during the Trolley Dash.
4.7 The winner will be permitted to elect an individual to perform the Trolley Dash on their behalf if they are unable to do so due to physical disabilities or ailments.
4.8 The winner must be present at the Trolley Dash on the agreed date and time.
4.9 The final prize handover will take place at the till point.
4.10 The winner will be accountable for all costs exceeding R5 000.00 (Five Thousand Rand) including VAT. Alternatively, the winner may elect to forgo items.
4.11 Cellphones phones and appliances will not be included in the prize.

5. IMPORTANT NOTICE:

5.1 The prize cannot be exchanged, it is non-transferable, and it is not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
5.2 Participants are responsible for all costs related to entering this competition, including cellular and data cost.
5.3 Setsing IV Centre reserves the right to cancel the competition or terminate their sole discretion for any reason whatsoever.
5.4 The winner agrees to their name and surname being used for publicity purposes.
5.5 Setsing IV Centre does not accept responsibility for any losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the prize.
5.6 Setsing IV Centre does not accept any liability for reliance placed on information and/or images and/or other content on Setsing IV Centre Facebook page and website that is not posted by Setsing IV Centre.
5.7 Setsing IV Centre reserves the right to end the competition at their discretion.

6. GENERAL:

6.1 Employees, directors, agents, contractors, tenants and their staff, and consultants of Setsing IV Centre and their immediate families, associates or business partners may not enter the competition.
6.2 In the event of a dispute regarding any aspect of the competition and/or these terms and conditions, the decision of Setsing IV Centre will be final, and binding and no correspondence may be entered into.
6.3 Setsing IV Centre may refuse to award the prize if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities, fraudulent practices, or unlawful tampering.
6.4 The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered with, Facebook.

7. Privacy Policy:

We confirm that the owners of Moutse Mall and their agents comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“the Act”) in respect of the collection and processing of personal information. By entering this competition, you confirm that you understand your right to privacy and that the information submitted by yourself, or your duly authorised representative, will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the Act. You hereby give your consent for Moutse Mall to collect and process your personal information for the purpose of this competition, Moutse Mall marketing, advertising, promotions and competitions.
