COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WINTER WARMER 2025 COMPETITION

Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City Shopping Centre, managed by Capital Land Asset Management, is conducting
this promotional competition, which is called the “Winter Warmer Competition.”

All participants, by entering the “Winter Warmer Competition”, agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:

1. HOW TO ENTER:

1.1 Spend R100.00 or more at Boxer Superstore Thulamahashe Plaza or Super Spar Bridge City Shopping Centre between 08 August – 08 September, to qualify for a Winter Warmer lucky scratch card.
1.2 Each purchase of R100.00 or more at either at Boxer Superstore Thulamahashe Plaza or Super Spar Bridge City Shopping Centre entitles the customer to one lucky scratch card, limited to one card per customer per transaction.
1.3 Present the qualifying till slip to the store manager on duty and to receive your free Winter Warmer lucky scratch card.
1.4 Should you WIN register your name and contact details for the next date of prize handover date.

2. WHO QUALIFIES TO ENTER:

2.1 To participate in this competition, you must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa with a valid passport or ID.
2.2 All entrants must be 18 years or older as of 08 August 2025.
2.3 The winner will be required to present a valid South African ID document or proof of permanent residency to accept and redeem the prize.
2.4 The winner must be available to collect prizes between 09h00 to 10h00 each Friday.

3. WINNER SELECTION PROCESS:

3.1 The winners will be determined by the prize shown on each scratch card.
3.2 Winners will be announced on weekly after claiming prizes, depending on individuals coming to claim their prizes.
3.3 Winners will be recorded and contacted via the contact details provided to the store manager.
3.4 The winners have until the end of competition 08 September 2025. If no prizes have been claimed until the competition closes the prize will be forfeited.

4. PRIZE & COLLECTION PROCESS:

4.1 The prize will be varied and will be physical prizes.
4.2 The winner must present their South African ID or valid passport and proof of permanent residency upon collection.
4.3 The winner’s name & contact details will be recorded by Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City Management for the purpose of Marketing campaigns and promotions.
4.4 The winner will be required to sign acceptance of their prize.
4.5 The winner agrees to all photos of the winner being used for Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City marketing, advertising and reporting purposes.
4.6 The winner must be physically present to collect on agreed date and time.
4.7 The final prize handover will take place at Mall Management office.

5. IMPORTANT NOTICE:

5.1 The prize cannot be exchanged, it is non-transferable, and it is not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
5.2 Participants are responsible for all costs related to entering this competition, including cellular, data, and travel costs.
5.3 The winner agrees to their name and surname being used for publicity purposes.
5.4 Thulamahashe Plaza / Bridge City Shopping Centre does not accept responsibility and shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or issues which a winner may experience with any of the prizes.
5.5 Thulamahashe Plaza / Bridge City Shopping Centre does not accept any liability for reliance placed on information and/or images and/or other content on the Thulamahashe Plaza / Bridge City Facebook page and website that is not posted by Thulamahashe Plaza or Bridge City Shopping Centre.
5.6 Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City Shopping Centre. reserve the right to cancel the competition or terminate it at their sole discretion for any reason whatsoever.

6. GENERAL:

6.1 Employees, directors, agents, contractors, tenants and their staff, and consultants of Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City Shopping Centre and their immediate families, associates or business partners may not enter the competition.
6.2 In the event of a dispute with regard to any aspect of the competition and/or these terms and conditions, the decision of Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City Shopping Centre will be final and binding and no correspondence may be entered into.
6.3 Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City Shopping Centre may refuse to award the prize if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities, fraudulent practices
or unlawful tampering.
6.4 The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered with, Facebook.

7. Privacy Policy:

We confirm that the owners of Thulamahashe Plaza and Bridge City Shopping Centre and their agents comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“the Act”) in respect of the collection and processing of personal information. By entering this competition, you confirm that you understand your right to privacy and that the information submitted by yourself, or your duly authorised representative, will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the Act. You hereby give your consent for Bridge City Shopping Centre to collect and process your personal information for the purpose of this competition, Thulamahashe Plaza marketing, advertising, promotions and competitions.
